「記者カメ」はおもしろい：長島一浩
「記者カメ」は大変ですけど、おもしろい。コンサドーレ札幌の担当の場合、日本ハムの担当などと違い、試合のときは記事＋写真を、こなさなければならず、記者カメラマンになる。１５日の水戸戦は地元の新聞社５社のうち３社はそうだった。写真を撮りながら、ノートに試合の流れを記入する。このスタイルは今季４試合目になるが、私もだんだんと慣れてきている。
カメラのレンズから、水戸戦の中山の今季初ゴールを見た。中山はゴール後、これでもかとほえ、鬼のような表情を見せてガッツポーズ。ＦＷダビと中山の体が宙の上で抱き合った場面は、とても印象的だった。その後も手荒い祝福を受け、まるで高校野球の優勝時に選手がマウンド目掛け、入り乱れるような光景が目の前で広がった。「記者カメ」でしか、ここまではっきりと、詳細に分からないのだろうなあと思った。
ただ、ピッチ中央のスタンドの記者席から見ていたら、どうだったのだろうか。もっと、目の届かない他のところも、見られたのではないか。観客の視線は中山中心になる。そこで、もし、三浦監督を見ていたら…。ＦＷ陣、待望のセットプレーからの一発に、どんな表情を見せ、どのように喜びを表現したのだろうか。もしかしたら冷静なクールな男が、大きく飛び跳ねて喜んだかもしれない。そう思うと、悔しくなる。
やっぱり、サッカーはスタンドから、見るのが１番いいのかもしれない。ただ、どちらにせよ、少しでも中身の濃い新聞をつくれるよう、自分は全力を出し切り、努力していきたい。
